What this site is, and is not (South Africa)
The status of XM South Africa Guide: a publisher, not a broker or adviser; how it is funded; and where to take a real problem.

XM South Africa Guide (xinvest-southafrica.com) is an information website. It is not XM, it is not owned or operated by XM, and it has no agreement with XM. It is not a broker, not a financial adviser and not a financial services provider of any kind. It does not hold or move client money, does not open, verify or manage trading accounts, and does not collect applications for any product.
Nothing on the site is an offer, a recommendation or a solicitation to trade. The guides explain how XM's products and rules work so that a reader can decide for themselves, with the broker's own documents in front of them.
How the site is funded
The site is funded by its partnership with FxPro, a broker that is not XM. The buttons on every page open an account with FxPro, and every button is labelled to say so. That is the only way the site earns money: there are no paid placements, no sponsored pages and no payment from XM.
Because the income depends on a button for a different broker, the site keeps two rules visible everywhere: the button is never described as opening a XM account, and the description of XM is not softened to make the alternative look better.
What the site does not claim
- It does not claim any authorisation to give financial advice, and it gives none.
- It does not name authorisations, supervisory bodies or complaint bodies for XM. What the guides do say is where a reader's own answer sits: the XM company they contract with is named in the client agreement accepted at registration.
- It does not warrant that any term quoted here is still current: every term shows the date it was read.
- It does not vouch for FxPro beyond the label on the button; a reader should read that broker's own documents before opening anything.
If you have a problem with a broker
This site cannot help with a blocked account, a missing withdrawal or a document request, because it has no access to any account. Those questions go to the broker that holds the account, through the routes described on the customer service guide: use the support channel that can act on the problem and include the identifiers and dates the broker needs.
If the problem is with this site, an incorrect fact, a quote that should be removed, a broken link, write to the address in the site's footer or contact route, and the editorial team will check it against the source.
Risk
Trading leveraged products such as CFDs carries a high risk of losing money quickly. The rules described on this site, leverage up to a stated maximum, dormant-account fees, same-method returns of withdrawals, are exactly the rules that turn small mistakes into losses. Read them before you deposit, on the broker's documents, not only here.
